Friends of Smyrna Home
Bringing hope to those in need in Southern India
Who we are
Friends of Smyrna Home (FOSH) is a UK charity helping the poor and those requiring additional needs in Southern India. We do this by supporting an Indian charity with the same aims; Smyrna Fellowship Trust (Smyrna Home), founded in 1983 and based in Ooty in the Nilgiris area of Southern India.
Our Goal is to support Smyrna Home in India with finance, prayer and encouragement as they seek to break the cycle of poverty, sickness and hardship amongst children and people living in the community. We support their work in India as they provide shelter, food, medical assistance and education so that individuals can have real hope and faith and are able to fulfil their potential. Where feasible and beneficial, we organise trips to Smyrna Home to encourage the local team and provide assistance in the work.

Feed the hungry, and help those in trouble. Then your light will shine out from the darkness, and the darkness around you will be as bright as noon.
